12.1hh rising 15 year old mare. Weedy is a very loving and affectionate pony. She is good to catch, load, with the farrier (she isn’t shod) and in traffic. She will go out alone or in company. She had laminitis last year and though this was very mild with no lasting effects she will need limited grazing and very good fencing! She has done some showing and I believe that she could do well with this, however she needs further schooling to maximise her potential.
Weedy is ridden in a snaffle but is a forward going pony. She can be strong to handle and for this reason I would like her to go to an experienced small adult.
This is a heartbreaking sale as I am going back to university. I am looking for a kind and knowledgeable home for Weedy with someone who will love her as much as I do. Homes will be vetted.
